Sponsor A Drive
Holding a Hope For The City Food and Fund Drive is an easy
way for a community organization, workplace or neighborhood to join together
to reach out to those in need.
We are able to help more people with the resources donated through our Food
& Fund Drives; not only is food provided, but these donations help us off
set the costs of procuring corporate surplus and transporting it to our
warehouse. Your drive makes a
difference!
Food and Fund Drives can be held by an individual, a group, an organization, or a business. Hope For The City has all the materials you will need to hold your own Food and Fund Drive - food collection posters, flyers, and suggestion lists.
Important questions to think about when you plan a Food
and Cash drive: When will you hold your Food and Fund Drive? How will you
create awareness about your drive?
How will you collect resources?
What are the goals for your Food and Fund Drive?
There are many ways to inform
people about your drive and get them involved.
For example, co-workers can compete against departments to see who
can raise the most funds or food.
Neighborhoods can do the same by breaking into groups for each
street. Student councils can
compete by grade. Turn an
annual holiday get together into a fundraising opportunity for your drive.
Businesses can attract customers and give back by offering discounts
when a donation of funds or food is made.
Big or small Hope For The City can help make
your Food and Fund Drive a success.
Food and Fund Drives should all be delivered to Hope For The City's
warehouse in St. Louis Park, MN.
The money you help us save on transportation can be turned into food
and non-food resources for our neighbors in need.
